This information concerns all employers paying an apprenticeship tax and who wish to distribute their balance to a specific school or training center authorized to receive it (exception made for CFA centers for which payments are automatically redirected to).
SOLTéA is a new national online platform set up by the “Caisse des dépôts et consignations”, to become the new entry point to all employers, supporting them into deciding to whom they would like to allocate their apprenticeship tax.

Employers are strongly encouraged to allocate their tax to the school or training center of their choice, in order to encourage apprenticeship programs. However, please note that this procedure is not compulsory: if an employer does not choose a specific school or training center, their apprenticeship tax will be automatically distributed to any eligible schools or centers based on legally defined criteria.
The steps and process for employers to define which establishment they would like their tax to go to is relatively easy and straightforward: a “User Guide: Employer portal” has been published by SOLTéA, available here (only in French).
The deadline to submit your request is set on September 6th, 2023.

- If you do not wish to submit a specific choice of school or training program, you then have nothing else to do – if you are one of our customers, our French Business Advice Social and Payroll team has done the necessary to have everything in order.
- If you wish to submit your choice of school or training center for which you would like to allocate your apprenticeship tax to, you can now log-in to the SOLTéA platform and follow the step-by-step guide.
